What is Digital Photography?
A digital single-lens reflex camera
(also called a digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera combining the optics and the mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor, as opposed to photographic film. Students will learn to operate the Digital SLR cameras like a pro learning both Studio & on location photography.
Who created the Images?
Past & present students from the Saginaw Career Complex Graphic Arts class under the instruction of Mrs. Toni Hock. The images are a result of either class assignments, client work, or free work.
River of Time…Documentary Photography…The entire Graphic Arts class goes on a field trip to Bay City to see the Living History Encampment. The River of Time draws re-enactors from around the Midwest, who come to dress & live the roles of folks from an earlier, if sometimes a more difficult time. In The outdoor setting of Bay City's Veteran's Memorial Park on the bank of the Saginaw River it showcases a time-line history of North America, Michigan & Bay County.
